Retail & Food Services Sales

The Economics & Statistics Administration (ESA) reported last month on the April 2014 retail and food services sales with an increase of 4.0% from a year ago, and 0.1 percent from March 2014. Total sales for April 2014 were $434.6 billion which included automobile sales, and $347.5 billion for retail and food services alone, a 2.7 percent increase from the previous year. Funding availability for the food service sector including startups is plentiful with options that include invoice factoring, purchase financing and accounts receivable finance.
